El Toro Water District utilizes a Water Budget-Based Tiered Conservation Rate Structure. The calculator below may assist you in estimating how this rate structure may impact your monthly water bill.

We recommend that you have your monthly water bill available when you use the calculator below. You’ll need several numbers from your monthly bill to complete your calculation, such as the irrigable area on your property and the size of your water meter

Select the meter size associated with this account
Enter the volume of water used in this particular month
Choose appropriate customer class
This selection determines the average ET0 factor and days of service
Property and Usage Details
Enter property area to be irrigated (sq. ft.)
Always 1 for SFR and Condo
Always 2 for Multi-Family Restricted and Trailer Park Restricted
Multi-Family and Mobile Home Estate Park accounts must also include the number of residences served by the meter (units). The household size should also reflect the number of people in each unit.
