Government Finance Officers Association Honors ETWD for Excellence in Financial Reporting
El Toro Water District has once again been recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
This marks the ninth consecutive year ETWD has earned this prestigious recognition, reflecting the District's ongoing commitment to financial transparency, accountability, and sound fiscal management.
The GFOA also recognized ETWD's Finance Department with the Award of Financial Reporting Achievement, which acknowledges the dedication and professionalism of the staff responsible for preparing the District's award-winning financial report.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. It is awarded to government agencies whose annual financial reports meet the GFOA's rigorous standards for transparency, accuracy, and full disclosure.
